WordPress | Edit a Blog Post with Gutenberg (Beginner)

Instructions

1. To edit your posts or create new posts, go to WP dashboard → Posts → Edit/Create New.

 

2. This will lead you to the WP editor (called Gutenberg).

 

3. Edit the Post Title

It will be used dynamically later.

4. Edit the Post Content

Use Gutenberg to add blocks of content.

5. Edit the metadata

Author, Featured Image, Excerpt. You can also edit the categories and tags.
All will be used dynamically later.

 

6. Preview Your Post

Before publishing, preview your post to ensure everything looks correct and all links are working correctly.

 

7. Updating or Publishing

Click Update to save your work, or Publish to publish your blog.
